The reveal arrives just a day before the Sundance Film Festival announces its 2025 lineup, intensifying speculation about whether the film will make a surprise world-premiere debut, though nothing is confirmed yet. Set for release on April 3, 2026, The Drama has already been screened in nearly finished form for select industry viewers. The early reactions have been overwhelmingly strong. He is now set to take on his most ambitious project yet with a pairing which features two of Hollywood's favourites in recent years.
